Ok. Where do I start? This is the first book of the kind of genre which I usually don't read. I've been sent the book to post an honest review. Well, here it is: I expected something like fifty shades of an ugly colour - far from it. I think, the degree in psychology stood the writer in great stead. The story was not, which I'd dreaded, a mere sex, BDSM story. There is so much more to it. It is all about finding one's self and finding love, real love, not phantasies about use and abuse of wounded women. It is about friendship, true friendship. And to love belongs sex. Ok. I am old now, not prude, though. I thoroughly enjoyed parts of the book where the sparks flew between Judy 'Blue' Redford and Tate. And Bond. But, more than that, I've enjoyed reading between the lines, the damaged souls, the hurt ones, not willing to open up to the wholesome love which, of course, includes sex in any intimate form but also commitment of the soul and heart and mind. It is about letting go of a past which has formed one and pained one, but it is alo a story of letting go this troublesome past with the help of friends; with the help of love. Paddles, whips, restraints. A smooth chest, hard cock, and a blushed pussy - tools and phantasies of our human longing for love, physically. Like I've said, one doesn't come without the other. And: "Just remember, you asked for it". " Twisting in restraints but also loving every second of it". I've thouroughly enjoyed the read. A new experience for me with this genre. The plots and characters are well developed. Don't we all have baggages to let go? To comprehend a true, all engulfing love. And, is there not more to the meaning of family than a mere blood line? Friends, a family of choice. Blue, the quiet one amongst the group of friends, listens to the heart. Sex, a great tool of love but, meaningless on its own. A fling is a fling and love is love. You'll read of both in this book. There are many ways to be bound by love. That's what I've learnt from this book. And, yes, I will read more of the writer. I want to find out. You're never too old to learn. I've liked the book and will read more of the writer. She is good. Definitely five stars from me. Good plot, well developed characters, smoothe style of writing. Entertaining. A writer who engages with the reader. A work of fiction. Imagination. I will be continuing chasing the dream, inspired by Blakely Bennett.
