I always do appreciate reviews for my books. Reviews are essential feedback for a writer's work.

Malin is the story of a young girl's experience and survival during a winter at the end of WWII, Germany. The symbolism sprinkled throughout is deep and thought provoking. On a personal note, the way Malin remembered her grandmother and her grandmother's tales reminded me much of my own German grandmother. I connected with the warmth of that relationship. I enjoyed the way that Malin drew strength from her heritage - the deep, almost tribal connection to her ancestors and the Old Ways: she used folklore and the tales of the Old Gods as a source of empowerment and encouragement to press on under unthinkable odds. This book is a story of love and hope, of devastation and pain, but mostly of the human spirit and the power of goodness over evil. I recommend it highly. (by Melodie Ramone)

Thank you, Melodie!
