Skadi Winter about writing and journalism...

I always admired good journalism which, without implementing personal views, focused on current affairs. While chasing readers by using social media tools such as twitter, facebook or youtube etc., it seems that good and honest old school journalism has descended to mere prostitution. While exploiting the new keyhole mentality of society – and making good money with it -, readers often are only fed trivialities. The mirror of the Court Jester has become a distorted image of a society on the run. Writers become best sellers by hiding their true creativity behind headlines feeding baits, created to lure potential readers to be distracted from a society of deceit. Values are ridiculed and replaced by voyeurism. Modern society pays the price by losing its moral foundations.

My Mantra: I write. I don’t prostitute my words. I will not be corrupted.
