How do individuals deal with wars, deceit, political lies, hatred and prejudice? How can an individual find ways to influence history? How can an individual deal with guilt, brought on by ruthless rulers? I have traveled far, always carrying the burden of collective guilt. I am not a Jew, I am German. My family has suffered. My father had been in the SS, aged 17; he survived and the fear he felt during these times has never left him.. My message is: Don’t believe in hatred, in prejudice,in wars. We all are one people of this world. We, us, we alone have to stretch our hand out to fellow humans. I don’t want to be manipulated, corrupted. I write to find answers. I write to give words a thought, or two.
